GERSON LAW FIRM APC  announces that William W. Webb has affiliated with the Firm.

Mr. Webb has a broad background in commercial real estate transactions.

Mr. Webb has previously served as Regional Counsel and Vice President of TransAmerica and Commonwealth Land Title Companies from 1986 to 1995, where he was in charge of a 12-attorney legal department. He supervised all claims and underwriting matters and represented the company in large commercial real estate projects. He advised senior management on regulatory and corporate law matters. He has developed and taught in-house training courses on real estate law. Prior to 1986, he also acted as Division Counsel in Arizona for TransAmerica Title Company.

Since leaving TransAmerica and Commonwealth in 1995, Mr. Webb has continued to handle high liability commercial real estate transactions for Commonwealth Land Title Company on a contract basis, assisted a San Francisco dispute resolution company in the design of litigation management systems for insurance companies, been a visiting lawyer at the International Chamber of Commerce, Institute of International Business Law and Practice in Paris, France and participated in a 3-month lawyer exchange program with Norton Smith & Co. (now Codert Brothers) in Sydney, Australia.

Mr. Webb has more than 90 hours of continuing education training in Alternative Dispute Resolution and Arbitration courses, including more than 60 hours in International Mediation and Arbitration courses. He has been a member of the California Bar since 1978 after graduating from University of California, Hastings College of the Law.
