GERSON LAW FIRM APC was center stage in both the annual nationwide December loan closing frenzy and college football holiday pageantry.

Loan closings included Freddie Mac multifamily loan closings in Washington and California for loans of $12,720,000 and $16,300,000, and Fannie Mae multifamily loan closings and loan modifications in California, Texas and Utah for more than $30,000,000.

GLF also closed an $8,200,000 Fannie Mae Multifamily loan, and also represented a credit union closing a portfolio of 12 commercial real estate loans in more than seven states, in which the anchored tenant on each property was either Dollar General or Family Dollar.

In connection with a borrower representation, GLF closed a refinancing of one of the country’s premier Best Western lodging properties in Old Town, San Diego, with a loan of more than $30,000,000.

Gordon L. Gerson, who in early 2007 became a member of the Red Coat Committee of the San Diego Bowl Game Association, which annually presents both the Poinsettia Bowl and Holiday Bowl, actively participated in bowl game festivities, including several host activities with coaching staff and team members of the United States Naval Academy and Utah State University football teams who played in the Poinsettia Bowl, and Arizona State University and the University of Texas, who played in the Holiday Bowl.
