In an effort to increase diversity in the legal profession and to support those who are under-represented in law school admissions, GERSON LAW FIRM APC has established the GERSON LAW FIRM APC Diversity and Inclusion Scholarship Fund at the University of San Diego School of Law. The scholarship fund is prioritized toward applicants who are pursuing a legal career in real estate finance with the ultimate goal to increase diversity among future leaders in the commercial real estate finance industry.
Created in November 2020, The GERSON LAW FIRM APC Diversity and Inclusion Scholarship Fund will be awarded to a law student who demonstrates academic merit and financial need. Preference will be giving in the awarding of this scholarship to students who contribute to the diversity of law school admissions and their law school class, and have a demonstrated interest in increasing diversity in the commercial/multifamily housing real estate finance industry.
Diversity and inclusion are the primary characteristics to be taken into consideration for the award of this scholarship, including, but not limited to, diversity in culture, race, ethnicity, gender, economic circumstances and sexual orientation.
