GLF Opens Multistate Receivership Practice

In the first quarter of 2009, GLF has been involved in representing its financial institution clients in receivership actions not only throughout California, but throughout the United States.

GLF filed actions for receiverships during the month of March 2009, in both Fresno and San Francisco. GLF also engaged local counsel on behalf of its clients in Arizona, Florida and Washington, to aggressively pursue receivership actions. Lodging facility properties were the subject of receivership actions in both Florida and Washington.

GLF is actively engaged in the representation of institutional and non institutional lenders on special servicing matters throughout the United States, including not only loan enforcement proceedings such as receiverships and foreclosures (both judicial and non judicial), but also in loan modifications and forbearances, as well as other loan loss mitigation strategies. .
