GERSON LAW FIRM APC is pleased to announce the addition of three lawyers to its ranks.
Helen Ghio brings more than two decades of experience to our title, real estate finance and real estate practice. Her background includes having worked at Chicago Title and gaining expertise in title matters before being admitted to the California Bar in 2001 and continues to have expertise in title matters; and following becoming an attorney worked with one of California’s then largest law firms (now part of Dentons), in multi-state commercial real estate portfolio transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions and financing of multi-tenant, retail, hotel, office, farm, industrial and other real estate assets. She also has expertise in legal matters relating to special needs education, and does pro bono work serving people with disabilities.
Kristin Miller became an attorney in 2006 following graduating magna cum laude from Pepperdine School of Law, followed by an LLM in in Taxation, cum laude, from the University of San Diego School of Law. Her tenure at Latham & Watkins beginning in 2006 followed by a local firm, has been primarily focused on commercial real estate and finance projects, including property acquisitions and dispositions, title, entity formation, project development, financing, leasing , ground leasing, as well as 1031 exchanges.
Nkko Ebbole joined the ranks of the California Bar in 2020 after graduating cum laude from the University of San Diego School of Law. While in law school he was a corporate legal intern at Cooley, and following law school worked at a local firm where among matters, he prepared mediation demands to compensate victims of the 2017 fires in Ventura, California. Nikko will support the firm’s real estate finance practice.
